Fans of Birmingham metal legend Ozzy Osbourne will soon be able to step inside the world of the Prince of Darkness as Universal Studios has unveiled a brand new haunted house for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights.

Inspired by the legendary Black Sabbath frontman and his iconic solo career, the attraction will open at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, bringing decades of heavy metal history to life through immersive scares, music and unforgettable imagery.

A Twisted Journey Through Ozzy’s Career

Universal describes the attraction as a place where “music and mayhem collide”, with guests venturing through a dark world inspired by Ozzy’s songs, album artwork and larger-than-life persona.

Music from six of Ozzy’s solo albums will feature throughout the experience, including Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Madman, Bark at the Moon, No More Tears, Scream and Ordinary Man, taking visitors on a journey through more than four decades of his career.

The Osbourne family worked closely with Universal to help shape the attraction, ensuring it captures the imagination and creativity that made Ozzy one of Britain’s most influential rock stars.

From Birmingham to Halloween Horror Nights

While both versions of the haunted house celebrate Ozzy’s legacy, each offers a different experience.

At Universal Studios Hollywood, the attraction begins in Ozzy’s hometown of Birmingham before leading guests through scenes inspired by Diary of a Madman and the eerie Osbourne Asylum.

Meanwhile, visitors to Universal Orlando will board the legendary Crazy Train for a terrifying journey through worlds inspired by the artwork and themes of Diary of a Madman, Bark at the Moon, The Ultimate Sin and Black Rain.

Universal has also released a teaser trailer, giving fans their first look at the attraction. The preview ends with Ozzy seated on a throne surrounded by bats before declaring, “Let the madness begin.”

Celebrating a British Heavy Metal Icon

Now in its 35th year, Halloween Horror Nights continues to transform Universal’s theme parks with immersive horror attractions based on some of the biggest names in film, television and music.

Joining experiences inspired by Stranger Things 5, Hellraiser, Evil Dead Burn and Sinners, the Ozzy Osbourne haunted house stands out as a celebration of one of Britain’s greatest musical exports.

From helping shape heavy metal on the streets of Birmingham with Black Sabbath to becoming one of rock’s most recognisable figures around the world, Ozzy’s influence continues to inspire generations of fans. This latest attraction ensures his unmistakable legacy will live on in spectacular fashion, giving visitors the chance to experience the madness of the Prince of Darkness like never before.
